The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
— Jung

What This Is

For those who live at a distance or who would like intensive, focused work, I offer 3-5 day intensives, customized to your individual needs.  Intensives generally include aspects of all facets of my work; Jungian analytic (as is appropriate), Alchemical Chinese medicine (acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapies), and the Language of Life body-centered practices.  Working with all of these modalities enables you to address your process through concrete therapies, symbolic understanding, and simple body-centered practices to support your healing, growth and development.  Depending on your needs, we typically meet for 2 – 2.5 hours every, or every other day, though your process will continue throughout the day as you are held by the intention and container of the work throughout the intensive.  You will have time to reflect and practice what you learn in our direct work, and will be given exercises and ‘homework’ appropriate to your process throughout the intensive.

Who This Is For

Whether you deal with physical illness, are looking for a spiritual retreat, want to gain clarity about a specific life issue, or would like to use the intensive as a precursor to ongoing analytic work, an individual intensive gives strong focus and support to deepen inner process and to provide well-balanced tools to support your overall well-being. Follow up work is available in person or by Skype for those at a distance.

Where We Meet

We meet in my office in Port Townsend, Washington, USA, a beautiful coastal town in the Pacific Northwest of the US.  This land was traditionally a healing place for the First Nation peoples of this area.  It is both charming and vibrant with spas, restaurants, and festivals, yet offering peaceful respite in the beauty of the environment. Port Townsend lies at the tip of a small peninsula that is itself on a larger peninsula in Washington State.  It looks out to the Salish Sea, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the San Juan Islands and Victoria B.C.  Home of Fort Worden State Park with miles of beaches and forest provides opportunities for quiet reflection in nature.

Lodging

Lodging is available through local hotel, B&B, or Air BnB sites.

Cost & Payment

The cost is dependent on the format we choose, but generally ranges from $1,500 - $3,000/intensive.  A $500 deposit will reserve your retreat time.  50% of the amount is due 1 month prior to the intensive, with the balance due at the time of the retreat.
